Job Summary:

Support Logistics Project Manager by executing project planning tasks to maintain project schedule.Work with existing logistics planners to conduct testing and planning within OTM – (Oracle Transportation Management).Support meetings and project planning activities per project schedule. Ensure that transportation business rules and scripts are executed according to requirements of rates, on-time delivery, and quality.Participate in continuous improvement and rapid improvement activities to support project schedule.

Responsibilities:

·Execute logistics planning activities for assigned facilities

·Utilize transportation planner practices and procedures

·Identify any issues or errors in testing, UAT, or Pilot phases of project

·Provide input to test scripts and planning documentation

·Help identify planning area process improvements and share with project team

·Assist with improvements to all IT system enhancement projects related to transportationplanning as directed

Qualifications:

·Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering or related field

·2 years’ experience in Supply Chain or Transportation preferred

·Transportation management systems experience required; experience in OTM preferred

·Experience in planning flatbed, LTL and Truckload shipments preferred

·Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

·Proficiency with Microsoft applications with emphasis on Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project

·Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members

·Ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction

·Ability to work within the appropriate level of independence

Ability to travel, as required
