JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Transformation Leader for Services Growth position for our Compression Technologies and Services (CTS) business is a strategic role within the Sales Excellence organization focused on a services growth initiative and executing the vision of becoming a Services-led business. As a collaborator you will drive global CTS sales through a ground-breaking journey from an equipment sales first mindset to a services-first culture through team alignment, problem solving, standard work creation and operating model definition and deployment. You will implement objectives enabling our sales teams to deliver double-digit services growth, increasing our capability and capacity to sell services. You will lead the initiative of achieving fully connected and engaged CTS customers.

JOB PURPOSE

As a leader you play a vital role in implementing specific programs and processes with the objective of driving double digit services growth. There will be significant engagement and coordination between the product management teams, the marketing and sales enablement teams, and the different global sales teams including driving growth with our direct and independent distribution sales teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION

-Lead development and implementation of processes and programs through the sales teams and functions intended to drive services growth and publish and communicate them through the Business Operating System (BOS)

-Establish standard work, deployment plans, change and management plans to ensure solution success

-Lead strategic A3’s, 9 step problem solving, and/or Rapid Improvement Event efforts – including owning and project managing solution approaches through implementation - focused on sales needs and transformation to become a truly global and services-led sales team

-Engage with sales teams by territory, sub-territory, portfolio, and channel in order to understand and diagnose key opportunities for improvement and/or risks

-Partner with the Product Management teams, Centers of Excellence, and support functions to ensure alignment, and engagement of growth programs

-Analyze sales, business and market data to effectively problem-solve, influence the services growth team, and implement new solution ideas

-Act as the global sales team representative to leadership on key initiatives such as services growth leadership team, commercial technology team, services growth culture, and others

-Engage other IR businesses and/or external sources for benchmarking, market analyses to inform our transformation strategy

-Establish a reputation as the “services growth champion” and change management leader for the commercial organization in services growth transformation efforts

APPLICANTS:

-Minimum 7-10 years of sales, commercial or consulting experience

-Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters/MBA preferred

-Direct Sales and/or Service experience preferred

-Excellent interpersonal skills – written and verbal at all levels of customer and internal teams up to and including Executive leadership

-Experience developing transformation initiatives at an enterprise or business unit level, from inception through implementation

-Global mindset essential, global experience a plus

-Strong change management skills

-Excellent influencing skills

-Strong analytical skills including analytical tool proficiency

-Problem-solving proficiency – understand the need, solve problems, and respond in an efficient manner

-Positive minded, self-motivated and willingness to embrace change

-Customer service orientation and a track record of excellent customer feedback.

-Ability to drive business results through building effective partnerships with relevant employees

-Collaborative and participative style

-Organizational skills – ability to multi-task, work with and through ambiguity to achieve high-level goals

-People leadership experience and team leadership and influencing

-Experience with Business Intelligence, SalesForce.Com, Siebel, Oracle, Alteryx a plus
