Job Summary:

As a member of Middleware Architecture team candidatewill assist the middleware development and operations team to designbest in class integration solutions globally across all functional areas for Ingersoll Rand. This position is part of the Global Technical Services team working with various application teams around the world supporting business solutions and systems that require middleware functionality. Candidate should have hands on middleware solution design and development experience.

Responsibilities:

·Work closely with Middleware team members (Development and Operations) to understand the requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions that are aligned with the business and IT strategies.

·Strategically build reusable assets utilizing Oracle FMW Stack, PL/SQL and Java to improve operational efficiencies and reduce cost

·Work closely with Middleware architect in evaluating new technologies in alignment with Ingersoll-Rand’s overall strategy and direction in adopting and building standards for future technology stack for Middleware team

·Key contributor to documenting and maintaining the existing custom Mmddleware frameworks and their components; make recommendations for improvements and/or alternatives

·Assist the middleware team for the complete integration lifecycle beginning at design, architecture, and interface/service design through implementation

  • Communicate the status of technical stacks and initiatives to stakeholders and leadership
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies while maintaining proficiency in existing technologies

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will be driven individuals, and possess exceptional business acumen, coupled with strong working knowledge of middleware implementations plus some of the following skills.

·Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Information Technology;

·5 or more years of hands-on working experience in design, build and support of middleware solutions using Oracle, BEA or other middleware platforms

·Programming experience in using Oracle SOA suite (BPEL, OSB), PL/SQL, Java is required.

·API Management/Gateway Experience is a plus

·Oracle APEX development experience is a plus

·Oracle MFT experience a plus

·Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously among changing priorities

·Must be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

·Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
