Ingersoll Rand's Accelerated Development Programs (ADPs) provide recent college graduates with challenging assignments, leadership training and valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders. Through rotations and experiences in multiple geographic and business locations, our ADP enables you to build diverse skill sets and a strong foundation for a successful and fulfilling career with Ingersoll Rand.
Positions are available at many of our facilities including: Davidson, North Carolina; La Crosse, Wisconsin; Annandale, New Jersey; Tyler, Texas; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Mocksville, North Carolina; Kent, Washington and Augusta, Georgia just to name a few.
We are looking for performance-driven, innovative leaders who understand the importance of collaboration and customer focus. We offer an Accelerated Development Program that consists of a 12-month product line assignment; an additional 12-month project based assignment and a 6-month cross-functional or extended function experience. These assignments are strategically chosen to ensure continuous learning and personal development.
While on program, Engineering ADP members will develop a solid engineering foundation with skills in key areas including:
New Product Development, Engineering Analysis, FMEA & DFMEA, Value Analysis/Value Engineering, Six Sigma, Product Design, Component and Reliability Testing, Technical Communication and Voice of Customer Analysis.

Successful Candidate’s Profile
- Overall 3.0 GPA or above
- Demonstrated leadership skills (minimum of two examples such as: school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects by graduation)
- Work experiences (minimum of two functionally related internships, co-ops or six months of experience by graduation)
- BS/BA or degree Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Willing to be flexible, mobile and relocate (anywhere in the United States).
- Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly.
